- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I don't believe it should be legal to sell diamonds that are not certified by a professional organization that does it for the consumer. These diamonds that they sell are not certified by igl nor are they certified by any other organisation except by them themselves. For example I am not allowed to build a house and inspect it myself. The reasoning is is because it protects the consumer so they are not buying something they don't understand or buying something that is incorrect. The most advice that I can give is to make sure that you know what you're buying before you do. If there is not professional paperwork that comes with a diamond when you purchase it do not buy it unless you are certified your self to understand what you are buying.
